MIDI Files
Is there any way to conserve the same song form mp3/wav format and convert that file into midi? I have tried countless convertors and all basically rip the song and replay it with 1 instrument and all is pretty much destroyed. Is there any way to do it so that we have the EXACT same instrumentals?

Drm Trigger
ilya
I was meaning bob actually, although you know using KTDrumTrigger (there are a couple others) is a great way of getting a drum groove (almost impossible to program) into MIDI events in order to apply which ever tones required.
You insert the plug-in on your drum track and the vst reads the information, outputting different MIDI note numbers, to be assigned to percussive sounds.
I've used this to replace the entire drum kit sounds of a particular drum recording, and of course you can then even tweak the timing in places.
The beauty is in the ability to e able to maintain the particular drumemrs feel, yet have the drums sound you prefer, with more control over them.
It rocks. _________________ Recording Studio Suntans
