That's a very small amount of money for a mic that might do somethng good, no?
How about reviewing it for us? _________________ Recording Studio Suntans

at2020 review
As soon as I get one you bet. I've read one review from a guy that used it on a bunch of different vocals and acoustic guitars. He said it was sweet. It has an SPL hadling of 144 dB and a dynamic range of 126 dB so it can capture everything from a soft whisper to a military jet takeoff (thats what the reviewer said). The one thing he said it desperately needs is a shockmount. (skockmount not included with mic)

| Anyone tried Audio Technica's new AT2020 yet? It's an LDC about $100. Awesome specs and I read one good review so far. It's on my wishlist... |
I recently bought the AT202 because I'm just getting back into PC Recording and didn't have a mic and my budget was sparce. The AT2020 is a wonderful mic for the money. It is clean and quiet - used it on piano and my acoustic and did a good job. I now have the AT4040 and while there is a difference the AT2020 held up well in my tests and fell it is a great buy.
God bless.
