 Portable Recorder or ADAT

I need to get some input on utilziing a portable recorder or portable ADAT like the Tascam DA-P1 for field recording and then be able to run the recordings back into my Roland 2400 VS workstation? Any ideas? Thanks. icon_lol.gif
