hei guys. im currently doin my honours thesis for BA (recording arts), and just want to gather a few worldy views on any current issues you guys are facing in ur craft. the more response the better, seeing as in looking to create something beneficial to you all, obviously.

I think one of the biggest issues is SAE students trying to find research topics!

I am one myself in Sydney.

I decided to record some tracks and work backwards from there. ie: what could I learn, what do I want to learn, how can I apply methodololgies to my creative project, etc... this will lead you back to your research question. Figure out what you want to end up with (recordings, a successful band tour, a good marketing campaign, a record label, etc...) and then find out how to justify it....

It took me 8 months to figure it out, good luck...
