looking to build a studio in my backyard.

The space i am thinking of using is about 100 sq ft. Will this be big enough, or should i try and gte some more room. I am going to have about half dedicated to recording and the other half to mixing/chilling. Looking for some advice on the size, and design. Thanks.
Edit: forgot to add that we would be recording guitar, saxophone, trumpets, and bass in there, and eventually get a drum kit to record. But for now wed be doing the drums at a separate location
