 Sonic Synth 2 volume problem

Hello! I'm using Sonic Synth 2 with Cubase SX3. I cannot adjust the volume of Sonik Synth. When I try to do it from the VST itself something makes the volume level go back to where it was as soon as I play a few notes on my midi keyboard. I'm frustrated, please help! icon_smile.gif
