I just purchased a new microphone and hooked it up through the mic input on my computer with an xlr cable and an adapter. The thing is, when I go to record my guitar, it will stop recording after several seconds and only pick up again if i really beat out a chord, yell, etc. The mic records voice just fine, but I don't know what to try as far as recording my acoustic... Help!
