Microphone Recommendations

Hi guys,

im still new here, so i hope i've posted in the right section. icon_smile.gif

Anyways, I want to get a mic but i am not really sure which mic that i should get. My band's music genre is metal and the style of vocals is mostly low-end growling to high pitch screaming. Im thinking of getting the Shure PG58. What do u guys think? (Cant really afford too expensive ones like senheiser and stuff like tat haha! icon_wink.gif ). Anyways, i need u guys' opinions on this matter.

any metal vocalists out there? would really love to hear ur opinions! Other genres pls feel free to comment too. pls dun be shy. haha! icon_biggrin.gif

Thanks![/img]

Well...you pretty much can't go wrong with a 58. The PG is the lower end in the 58 line. SM58 is the standard and the Beta58 is the newest in the 58 line.
For $100.....go with the SM58.
