How good are the cheapy USB-MIDI interfaces on eBay?

I was thinking of getting one. They look very similar to what you'd get from M-Audio, but a lot cheaper.

For example:http://cgi.ebay.com/4-6M-USB-to-MIDI-Interface-Cable-For-Keyboard-to-PC-US_W0QQitemZ150132120308QQihZ005QQcategoryZ29552QQrdZ1QQcmdZViewItem

Has anyone ever tried these? Do they work ok?

I'm on an iMac with a Roland XP-30 as my keyboard.

Thanks.
