need help connecting my studio

i have a mackie sr 24x4, an alesis hd24, 2 effect processors, 1 reverb unit, avp-1, digitech studio vocalist.... i also have a roland vs 1824, dont know if i can incorperate this or not. i went to the recording workshop in ohio over 10 years ago and am completly lost now. i will get the hang of it again, i just need some direction in how to connect all this together. if anyone can help, please reply... right now, im using the aux sends and returns for the effects and have the vocal harmonizer on its own channel with the mic plugged into the unit. im using sub outs to go to the hd24
