Toft ATB vs. Mackie 8 buss.

I currently have a Mackie 24-8-2 console but am looking to upgrade to something a little better. I've been looking at the Toft ATB as a potential replacement but I'm wondering if it will be much of an upgrade as opposed to a "side-grade". I've heard that the EQs on the Toft are great and the bussing and summing is solid but that pre's are a bit weird sounding.

Anyone know any more about them or have anything further to add?
