I would appreciate some input......

Hi Everyone,

I'd really appreciate your feedback (pardon then pun) on my mixes and general recording ability.

This was my first crack at writing, recording and producing on my own.

You can check out my work at www.chipgallmusic.com

Thanks in advance for your input. icon_smile.gif

I honestly tried to listen to something, but none of your links ever started. Either boost your upload or find a mirror.

I just tried'em and they seem to be working.
Do you mind trying again??

If you go to www.chipgallmusic.com and click on the "songs" link they should there and play.

They are MP3's but you should get an idea of my ability or lack there of...LOL

I really appreciate you taking the time to listen.

Nice! Reminiscent of 80s hair bands. You have captured what it would sound like if Ratt and Motley Crue got together icon_smile.gif

The only gripe I really had is the bass was too loud, overpowering the rest of the music. Vox were nice, good compression IMO.

Thank you very much for taking the time to listen.

I composed, wrote and performed everything myself (except the drums) and this was my first time producing as well.

It was all done with Sonoma Wire Works "Riffworks" digital recording software and a Line 6 Guitar Port on a Dell Inspiron Laptop.

LOL..you don't even want to know what I used as headphones to record and mix......it's embarrassing.

BTW...I like both of the bands you mentioned so that's cool! LOL

I'm looking forward to learning a great deal from the expertise offered here.

Here's my issue

And i has nothing to do with your music .....

Flash. Dude!

It’s great for online games and cartoons but…

No one is using it anymore it's causing too many errors in browsers / systems and search engines can't find it.

i can't play your music I’ll try again.

i understand the feelings of a more protective minded denizen but ... and I also understand the illusion of protection that the "flash" player gives but how about this :

cut your tracks to a minute then fade them out if you wish to stop download.

That way you can use standard tech like media player or whatever and get the results without hassles or downloads.

your audio sounds like it would sound great.

just some advice.
