Doing an Audio Mastering

Audio Mastering
Audio Mastering is not just copy and pasting the song you want!
Like in an album, every song must be mastered for proper balance or level.
plus Proper Equalization and final compression.

I'll give you some tips....

1. You should know the DAW you are using. You must know what plugin they are using and if they are eligible for mastering.

2. Proper bit depth

3. Proper plugin that you are going to use from Normalization, Equalization, Reverbaration, Stereo Widening and Multiband Compression.

4. Software for final CD Mastering. Wrting and Buffering.

More Tips will come as we move on.

Bit rate has to do with MP3 and other forms of compressed audio. I believe that you mean bit depth or word length. An entirely different thing.

Re: Doing an Audio Mastering

Hi Tom!

Thanks for the correction. I Know the difference between bitrate and bit depth. What I mean is audio bit rate mp3's is not that good compared to a 16 bit, 24 bit and 32 bit audio wave files. unless they want the audio file to be an mp3 audio.

Thanks Tom! Your are very particular when it comes to this. And thats good.

Hope to hear from you again.
