What do I need exactly?

Okay, well, I'm completely new to the whole Studio biz, but I have some experience with working on music, so I just need to know about what I need to start my own studio.

well, what is it you want to use your studio for? specifically.
multitrack recording, live instruments, MIDI, synth, mixing, mastering...
What are your goals? where do you want to start? what capabilities do you need? What kind of budget do you have? That's a very vague question you asked, my friend. Happy to help, but there's no right/wrong; no one way of doing things that's always better than another.
