READ.

Read posts in this forum and other forums.
Find some books, magazines, websites...
You'll need to learn properties of sound waves; how they will react in a room; how to tune the room for ideal sound.
Learn about the different types of mics and mic techniques.
Instrument tuning,
Signal chains,
Signal levels,
Gain staging,
Processing,
Mixing,
Hardware, software.

If you really want to learn, you'll find a way to learn. But it'll be hard to learn asking vague questions like that.
