Mic Inputs and such on Ozonic

Hey,
were a new band starting to record and we currently have an M-Audio Ozonic 37 key midi keyboard. It comes with the whole sha bang in the back, and we are planning to use the XLR input to record, but we have no idea how to use it through our PC [as well as the 1/4" input, which we are also clueless about]. I was just wondering if anyone knew how we could go about doing this.

Also, if you'd care to explain what Phantom Power is, its an option, but we don't know what it does exactly haha.

Thanks a bunch
CIM

P.S-we are running on Lite 6, and have the option of running on Reason 3 as well.
