Low spec alternative to BFG drums

I was going to buy the BFG VST drums here http://www.zzounds.com/item--FXPBFD.
But I would also need to buy a new PC to run it.I have a 1GHz Celeron with 512MB of ram.

I'm running Cubase and it does the job so far. I have Battery and LM-7 but I only have 1 patch for lm-7 and its pretty crap. Can anyone point me in the way of getting set up?

All I really need is a decent drum kit (or a few) but I dont know where to get them / how to know if they will work, or how to install them. Any info is appreciated!

Thanks,
Unholy

hhmmm.......
Maybe software isn't the avenue to be exploring for what your looking for. Have a good look at this and see what you think:

(click on the video tab once your at the site if you want to see this thing in action)

Although this machine ships with a TON of presets, you can easily program your own paterns using the thick key pads on board the machine. Aswell, I also think this might be a better option because of the fact you wouldn't be limited to using this with just your PC. You could easily take this thing anywhere you wanted to use it. So where as software might only assist you with PC recording, this machine can assist you in doing so much more like a solo live performance or maybe just getting down those great song ideas just by your self.

Anyway, just check it out and you'll see waht I'm talkin about.
