Studio Foam on ceiling?

Studio Foam on ceiling?

i have no room for studio foam on the wall so i was wondering if it would still work if i put it on the ceiling??

and i was also wondering if i even needed it?

it depends on how the acoustics are in the room really.. if your room sounds very reverb like. with a slight echo then yeah just a few tiles should cure that problem... but.. if your room is pretty dead sounding then i wouldn't bother putting any foam on room at all.

i got my studio set up in mi mothers Concervatory icon_lol.gif and the acoustics in there are very echo-i. so i just made a few reflectors.
