Pitch Correction Utilities

Such as Auto Tune were intended for people to be able to make minor corrections in a track. I just had to mention how much it pisses me off when people try to cover up major fuckups with these tools and give them a bad name. A great producer will only accept a great performance from his clients. I wanted to post this under the "vocals like a star's" one or whatever it was, but the topic was locked.

Hi, i think that tools, like, plug ins (reverbs, compressors, gates, eq's, and everything else) was invented, cos some people, can buy a outboard, or get in in a studio to waste money in take his time to listen carrefully and get a great idea of what they want, as we all know, plug ins was made to get all that oportunities to a minor cost. But, pitch correction tools, was made cos we all need it, we have a bad costum, that not to practice and/ or people want to sing when really can not to sing, and this is our tools, to obtain the best possible result (not the performance).

of but this to say that these tools help us to create effects, if you know
th Melodyne software, sides that nonsingle you can modify the refining, but also to alter the performance, to say it somehow.
I believe that somehow it is a tool that we needed, and that without a doubt, we are going to continue using

Well, now the use of Auto-tune in rap and hip-hop is being used more as an effect rather than an editing tool. I don't really prefer it, but people love that sound.
