Im trying to hook up a Behringer V-amp pro to an M-audio Firewire Audiophile via s/pdif. The manual says I need to synchronixze the two devices in the clock slave mode.

1. What is s/pdif? I hadn't heard of it until I got the audiophile.

2. How do I go about synchronizing these two devices?

I know these are basic questions but I would appreciate it if somebody could point me in the right direction, I'm just starting out
