A Fruity Loop
I have been working with fruity loops, and everything was cool at first when i was in single digit polys and 15 percent cpu usage, but the more sounds I add the more crackles and pops I hear as the poly and cpu numbers rise. I have a new pc with a pentium4 3.blah blah so I think it should work. It says once u export it the crackles will go away but when I add bas it gets ridiculously distorted. Is there a way I can get it to work? I dont know how many ppl here use or have used fruity loops but if u have any advice it would be appreciated. _________________ -D-

PC
This is a computer music issue so I've moved it into that thread.
You need to indicate what your PC system is including hardware/software configuration for anyone to give any possible suggestions. _________________ Recording Studio Suntans

go to options, audio settings, first make sure your primary sound driver is selected or whatever sound drivers you use...
and then if the drivers are selected correctly pull tha sound buffer bar up to the top
this will slow down the input of midi if you use it, but it will stop the crackling...
hopefully this should solve your problem, if not...
research in to "kX audio drivers"
