cubase

For microphones you need to go look here: http://www.studiorecordingengineer.com/forum-72.html

For software you'll not find a great deal for 100 bucks... although perhaps cubase se might be an option for you.

Cubase SE

For software, you can go with Cubase SE (it comes with 48 audio channels, unlimited midi channels, with built in audio effects). If you're looking for VST (Virtual Instrument), then you can't go wrong with Steinberg Studio Case (contains GrooveAgent SE, Grand SE, Virtual Guitarist SE, HaLion SE).
Condenser...get MXL V67. It's a proffesional studio condenser on bargain price ($100, I have one of those...and it's sounds really great!).

Cubase SE is a must at $100,

Mackies Tracktion 2 is a steal at $150. with it you get a bundle of great plugins like the RM IV drum machine, sample tank and amplitube Le, Mackies dynamic suite and more. its a little funky looking and takes a little getting use to but its an unbeatable value.

Behringer make a VERY GOOD $100 mic with the B-1 (which I own).

Studio Projects is getting a lot of talk with their $100 mic also named B-1
