Tascam US-122

Here is my 1st question uncle_jerr or anyone. Im stuck on page 20 in the owners manual. 'selecting the US-122 as your audio device'. The manual says "In Cubasis open the Audio Control Panel. It's located in the Audio pull down menu, under System " But there is NO SYSTEM TAB UNDER THE AUDIO PULL DOWN MENU! can anyone help please.
Thanks.

Michael

I wanted to add to this post what i learned . I learned that there was some differences on the interface in my brothers Owners Manuel and the Cubasis program (thats another problem also the software I have is Cubase LE 1.07 , is it possible the store gave my brother wrong software?) Anyone, have any advice? Is the Cubase compatable?

cubase

I don't use either the us-122 or cubase, but I'm pretty sure you got the right software. Cubasis is Cubase, but there are a few different versions of cubase (LE, SX). So I'm thinkin that's just a more general term maybe?

I wouldn't be surprised if there are minor discrepancies with the manual and the software, then. I would just keep browsing through the menus until I found what looks like the audio control panel.

Sorry, I'm not much help on this.

us122 asio issue

Re the setting cubase le and the us122...
I'd go into the device menu, and look for device setup,
to the left their should be a vst multitrack you can select.
When you do you should see the asio driver menu and a pulldown.
look for your usi122 in the asio menu and check it at 24 bit 16 if you don't have 24 bit.
If you don't see the us122 there sould be a add remove device tab...where you can choose the appropriate device.
Select ok and that should do it.
While you are in the device setup menu..on the left their should be vst inputs select that and confirm that you have us 122 a and uss122b listed and active.
Same applies to vst outputs only they should be us122L and us122r.
This should set your audio device to your software. icon_cool.gif STeve
