Guitar Effects and Hum

I'm a guitarist, playing through a Mesa/Boogie Dual Rec. I've had my effects for a long time and never had any problems, but lately, there's a great deal of Hum when I turn the amp on, especially on distorted channels....my effects are A DigiTech Whammy, Boss dd-1 delay, boss flanger, boss phase shifter, boss octave, and a boss chromatic tuner. Would a noise supressor work, or should I upgrade my pedals?

source of hum

try to isolate the source of the hum.
plug the guitar straight into the amp, then just add one pedal at a time until the hum starts. there may just be a loose wire somewhere or it could be time for a new pedal-- easier to tell when you get it isolated tho.

oh yeah-- DO NOT TRY TO SOLVE THIS WITH A NOISE GATE.
