i like this form of ohms law

V
--------
I | R

V=IR
R=V/I
I=V/R

Any one mind sharing with the class What V, I, and R, are?

Oh, thank you for asking.javascript:emoticon('icon_smile.gif')

V is Voltage, the "push" of electrons - measured in Volts
I is Current, the rate of flow of electrons - measured in Amps
R is Resistance, the opposition to the flow - measured in Ohms

Hence, Ohm's Law. All three of these are proportional to each other as descibed by the equation V=IR.javascript:emoticon('icon_idea.gif')

application of ohm's law

Ohm's Law actually applies to all electronic circuits. It's not really something to take into consideration when you're mixing anything-- unless your mixer's broke icon_smile.gif

Audio circuits are all about Ohm's Law.

When you increase an AUX dial you are in fact moving what is known as a potentiometer, that means you are increasing the amount of voltage output, which goes on to the next stage in the circuit.
