Can you mail me an fxp file for Vintagemeter preset please?
I never thought of that one - a fine call.

Glad to hear from another Nuendo 2 user also doing DVD-A - wel ...

That is sort of extra - all in the last list is just the DAW.

For Surround mixes, I run the digital signals from the DAW thru the HDSP 9652, into the RME DAC and then into a Midas Venice 240 Analog ...

It will take me a few days to do it, as I want to get it right.
Software I use is Nuendo 2.2, with a few addons that nobody doing Surround should be without.

I'll try to keep it as ...

Just my opinion. I'd rather record it right than "fix in the mix", and I'd rather mix right than "fix in the mastering".

Interesting that, this must be dependant on the medium though I guess? I mea ...

It sounds to me as if the acoustic guitars are done one of 2 ways:

A/. Double tracked and hard panned Left/Right in the mix, or
B/. ADT with an autopanner on them.

The A option is the most like ...

How did you do the mix?
What format did you export the mix in?
To get a multichannel mix, you first have to do the actual mix in Surround, and then you need to export in a format that is supported f ...

Running Nuendo on a dual Xeon 3.06 system, with 2Gb DDR RAM
RME HDSP 9652 Audio, and RME 8 I/O 96 DS Converters.
Outputs go into a Midas Venice console, and from there into Yamaha MSP10 Biamped Acti ...
