The Behringers lately have been POS! My Local GC had 7 of 10 DOA right out of the box.
For the price range you are looking at....I'd check out the Yamaha MG32/14FX.

(I've got one)

Too bad you'r ...

You can get some pretty tasty sounds tracking these low watt POS's. Depends on what sound you want. I've seen guitarist tear up Speak and Spells and wire their guitars to the amp section. I've seen th ...

Well...you pretty much can't go wrong with a 58. The PG is the lower end in the 58 line. SM58 is the standard and the Beta58 is the newest in the 58 line.
For $100.....go with the SM58.

If you have the tracks...I'd suggest a 57 just off center of the speaker and about an inch from the grillcloth. Track 2 use the line out from the amp and track 3 a room "ambient" mike. I use a 1" cond ...

Well here goes. If you have the tracks then go ahead and record all on separate tracks.
As to mikes....Audix makes some nice "kits" for miking drums. Depending on what your budget is, 2 or 3 Audio T ...

I've used an AT Pro 37R right over the sound hole (about 8 inches) and a 1" condenser between the sound hole and frets (about the same distance)
Another 1" condenser between 18 to 24 inches out into ...

I was thinking phantom power also.
I've used MXL-990's and after about a 15 minute "warm up" they quiet down and work fine.

More info.

I've had good luck with Audio Technica Pro-37R's over the Highhat and other cymbals... fairly close (around a foot) and one MXL-990s about 2 feet above dead center of entire kit. Just in front of drum ...

I have used MXL990s mikes with very good results. Around $90 at Guitar Center.
Just let them "warm up" for 15 or more before recording. They quiet down after about 15 minutes and the S/N ratio gets m ...

Stick with the Mackies or Yamaha's for a good midrange mixer. If budget is REAL tight....You can get by with a Behringer board but be warned, some are built worse than others and may not give you the ...

I've been using the Behringer quad gates on kits and have had good success with them.
I've used AT Pro37's or near miking and sometimes even 2 AKG414's for higher overall miking.
