so I would first bounce down my session and then import the bounced file into its own session and boost the levels there?

I have read computer mixing tutorials that say you should never give your daw track fader a db boost but how do you get your final mixdown to be at standard CD level. Is their a standard db output or ...

It would be nice to have all those mics but i get a great sound with what i got:


Bass drum: Beta 52
Snare: SM57
Overhead toms: SM57
Floor tom: SM57

The SM57's pick up the cymbals just fine ...
