I 've borrowed a Boss MM-5 mixer and a Behringer DI-100, now does the mixer do the job of the DI box or do i need it too..if then in what order?
Guitar->Di box>Mixer>PC or
Gutar->Mixer ->DI box-> ...

I have to make do with the 1/8" plugs for now until I get a new comp... but how would a DI box help..?

Im pretty much a beginner to Home recording.. and one problem ive been encountering is whenever I record my lead guitar ...i find a lot of noise when its in treble tone and almost nothing when in bass ...
